3 on 3 Basketball Event

What?
Recreational 3-on-3 basketball event at Kinderplaats 2010.

Who? 
There will be three divisions for children ages 2 through 12. Divisions will split into the following age groups: 2 through 5 year-olds, 6 through 9 year-olds, 10 through 12 year olds.

When and Where?
Games will start at 12:15 a.m. on Sunday, May 2^nd at Kinderplaats at 6^th and Central Ave.

Details:

1. Complete application on this website.
2. Registration deadline is Friday, April 16, 2010.
3. Participants can create their own teams or Kinderplaats will assign them to one.
4. Once all entries are in, there will be an email to the individuals and/or the team leader by the 25^th of April informing them of details regarding 3 on 3.
5. Each person must purchase a $6 Kinderplaats wristband that will be good for all Kinderplaats activities.

Game Details:

1. Games will be timed.
2. Each participant must purchase a six dollar Kinderplaats wristband, available on site, which will be good for all events at Kinderplaats. 
3. Participants should report to the site fifteen minutes before their games begin to register, receive instructions, and receive their jerseys.
4. Two to five year-olds will be playing at a site with a lowered basket, and will shoot at the basket until a goal is made; the opposing team will then be given the ball to go to half court to start the activity again. Six year-olds and older will begin play at half court, and the opponent who rebounds a missed shot will be required to return to half court to begin their activity toward making a goal.
5. All Kinderplaats 3-on-3 participants will receive a participant certificate; teams will not play toward a championship.
