Announcing 2012 Entertainment Preview in Fall Brochure

Holland, MI -- The Tulip Time Festival is pleased to announce the entertainment preview and availability of the Fall 2012 Preview Edition brochure. This fall brochure is an early snapshot of the entertainment confirmations. By sharing this early release, the local community has the opportunity to secure prime seating by purchasing pre-season tickets. It’s also the perfect time to purchase tickets as holiday gifts!

This coming year, we are pleased to announce the return of The Oak Ridge Boys to the festival concert series. The Oak Ridge Boys performed to a sell-out crowd back in 2009 and are now back by popular demand. The concert will take place at the Central Wesleyan Auditorium on Friday, May 11, 2012.

The Festival also welcomes Branson’s Male Vocalist of the Year – Doug Gabriel and his Number One Hits Tribute Show. The Doug Gabriel Show is full of variety for all music lovers featuring the number one hits of over 35 different artists. The show takes place at the Knickerbocker Theatre on Thursday, May 10, 2012.

New Odyssey is making a return engagement. The “three guys and 30 instruments” of New Odyssey continue to amaze and entertain Tulip Time crowds. The performance is always fresh and features a collection of music styles and arrangements. The dinner performance takes place at the Haworth Inn, Monday, May 7 through Friday, May 11.

A number of local community art and culture performances will also be part of the line up including:

• Tulip Time Salute
• Wooden Shoe-Be-Doo
• “Let There Be Music” at Evergreen Commons
• “Singing With Sinatra” performed by the Holland Chorale
• Holland Civic Theater’s presentation of “Belles”
• Dutch Heritage Show
• Barbershop Harmony on Parade
• The Big Band Jazz Experience presented by the Holland Jazz Orchestra
