IMPORTANT STREET SCRUBBING INFORMATION

Wednesday, May 9, 2007 Volksparade Schedule

10:30 – White Glove Inspection
1:00 – Klompen Dancers
1:15 – Street Scrubbing
2:00 – Parade

• All participants should be in full Dutch costume
• Assembly areas are north & south of 8th Street on Columbia Avenue, between 7th & 8th to the north and between 8th & 9th to the south
• All scrubbers must be in the assembly area and ready to begin by no later than 1:00 p.m. • Scrubbing will begin at 1:15 exactly.
• All scrubbers will proceed west on 8th Street to Kollen Park
• For the sake of our guests, and to ensure a prompt start for the parade, all scrubbers are asked to keep a steady forward pace.
• ABSOLUTELY NO WATER THROWING
• NO Handouts of any kind (candy, flyers, etc.)
• NO Animals Allowed
• NO bikes or rollerblades (due to safety reasons)
• Wagons/strollers welcome
