What Makes a Group

Groups can be formed through tour companies, churches, schools, banks or any other organization. To take advantage of our group services, groups must consist of at least 15 people.

Group Lodging

Many groups begin placing reservations the summer/fall before the festival. The Holland Convention & Visitors Bureau will assist in obtaining lodging in Holland, or a neighboring city if Holland is full. They can be reached at 1-800-506-1299.

Group Ticket Orders

The Tulip Time Festival office accepts orders for all shows, ticketed events, bleacher seats for parades, group meal reservations, step-on-guides, and bus parking. Group discounts are not offered for these items, however we do offer one complimentary ticket for the tour escort for each show/parade.

Tickets for area attractions must be purchased through the attraction offices. Group discounts are offered through the attractions, however the amount of the discount and the deadline to receive the discount may vary.

Group Meals

For a list of area restaurants, all of which are group friendly - http://www.tuliptime.com/area-info

Otherwise, for 52 years Holland churches and schools have served home-cooked meals for groups of 15 or more. Group meals are available beginning Monday, May 5 through Saturday, May 10. Lunch reservation times are 11am-1pm. Dinner reservation times are 4:30-6:30pm. All meals include tax and gratuity. A real convenience for groups, you're "in and out" in an hour! Bus parking available at all locations.

2008 Tulip Time group meal options include:

Bus Parking

Price: $35 each

Conveniently located near parade bleacher seats, reserved bus parking passes are available on parade days only. Parking passes are intended for groups with parade bleacher seat tickets. These passes are for the Civic Center parking lot, 150 West 8th Street, where most of the bleachers are located.

Bus parking permits often sell out prior to the festival, so don't delay! Most other show venues and area attractions have their own designated parking areas. Free parking is available along the side streets, primarily on 10th Street east of VanRaalte Avenue, on a first-come-first-served basis.

Step-on Guides

Price: $75 for 3-hour tour (or less); $20 each additional hour

Let Tulip Time provide a pre-planned tour or have the option to customize your own! It's a great way to introduce your group to our town and the festival. A Holland resident in Dutch costume will board your bus for a 3-hour tour. The tour typically includes historic areas, city parks, Hope College, a view of the Windmill, Tulip Lanes, downtown Holland and more! Admission to attractions is not included with this service in order to give your group the full benefit of having a guide (attractions usually take 2 hours to tour). Shorter tours can be planned, however sites included will vary and price remains the same.
