TULIP TIME ANNOUNCES "1964" THE TRIBUTE!

HOLLAND, MI – February 26, 2007 -Tulip Time Festival (www.tuliptime.com) is excited to announce the return of “1964” The Tribute. The #1 Beatles show in the world is back in Holland performing Sunday, May 6, 2007, 7pm at the Holland Civic Center. Tickets are $24 and go on sale Thursday, March 1, 2007. Well known for their high-energy live performances, guests will enjoy this casual atmosphere with room to dance! “1964” The Tribute will take the audience on a musical journey to an era in rock history that will live in all of our hearts forever. They are hailed by critics and fans alike as the most authentic and endearing Beatles tribute in the world.

Choosing songs from the pre-Sgt. Pepper era, “1964” recreates an early 60’s live Beatles concert with period instruments, clothing, hair styles and onstage banter. Years of researching the Fab Four have made “1964” masters of their craft. Beatle boots, vintage costumes and equipment, on-stage mannerisms and speaking voices, and the unmistakable harmonies of the lads from Liverpool make “1964” the most accurate and fun Beatles tribute to date.

“1964” has toured throughout the world performing at major concert venues, as well as fairs, festivals, colleges, corporate events, and conventions. On January 10th, 2003, "1964" performed to a sold out crowd at Carnegie Hall, a dream come true for both themselves and their fans who came to New York from all over the country for the show. They have held a show at Carnegie Hall every year since then. “1964” has performed at other illustrious places such as the famous Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver, where they attracted a larger crowd than The Beatles by 2000 fans 40 years later.
