TULIP TIME FEATURES ENHANCED DUTCH EVENTS!
HOLLAND, MI March 14, 2007 -Tulip Time Festival (www.tuliptime.com) was created to honor the Dutch heritage of the Holland area community. The festival has continued that tradition annually through Dutch Dance, Dutch Heritage Show, Marktplaats, and much more. This year the festival has enhanced its “Dutchness” by adding the following events:
Jan Mulder
Born and raised in the Netherlands, Jan’s musical talent is recognized globally. He is a brilliant composer and magnificent piano player. Joining him in this exclusive Tulip Time performance will be his three sons and the Holland Symphony Orchestra. Both performances will be held at the Knickerbocker Theatre, 86 East 8th Street, Holland, MI.

Moerderleet
This talented group of 11, including an accordion player, will be arriving directly from the Netherlands. Singing songs of Amsterdam and old folk music, their energy is sure to get your toes tapping and hands clapping. You may even find them taking a musical stroll down 8th Street. All performances are free.

Storyteller
Grace Wolbrink & the Muffin Dancers! Enjoy an enchanting retelling of traditional Dutch folk tales including story dramas, artistic expression of the Muffin Dancers. A great family fun event! Seating is limited so come early! This is a free event and will be held at Herrick District Library, 300 South River Avenue, Holland MI.

“We continually strive to enhance the Tulip Time Festival by offering new events which celebrate the founding heritage of this community,” says Tamra Bouman, Tulip Time Director. “To be able to include guest artists from the Netherlands is a great honor.
