Annual Tulip Time Festival Dutch Dance Style Show

HOLLAND, MI – January 12, 2010 – Tulip Time Festival (www.tuliptime.com) announces the annual Dutch Dance Style Show to be held at 7:30pm on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at The Gathering Place, located at Christ Memorial Church, 595 Graafschap Rd., Holland, MI 49423.

The style show will be the first opportunity for new Dutch Dancers to consider their costumes for the upcoming Tulip Time Festival. The program will feature historical aspects of each costume, options for dancers, as well as details and guidelines about the Dutch Dance program in general. Area dancers will be modeling the 18 available costumes, representing 8 provinces. Dutch Dance Directors as well as Costume Directors will be introduced and available to meet with dancers to discuss program details and answer questions.

In honor of the 75th Anniversary of Dutch Dance, the Tulip Time Festival has added two updated Dutch costumes to our classic collection. In addition, two new Kinder Dutch Dance costumes will be introduced at the Style Show.

There is no charge for the show and the public is welcome.
