Pedals in the Park

Tulip Time partners with Velo Kids, to bring Pedals in the Park on Sunday, May 5 from 1-3PM. This event is for kids ages 2 to 14 years old. Bring your bikes and helmets to decorate at the decoration station run by Holland Area Arts Council. Then participants will get a chance to have a “glamour shot” of their participant’s fabulous bikes at the photo-booth run by Culture Works, while their efforts are judged by our guest host, Maranda! Prizes will be awarded to the “Most Creative”, “Most Outrageous”, and “Best Tulip Time Representation”.
Team Vivela will be providing Bike Safety tips. Velo Kids will run a balance bike course for the children (ages 2-4) and offer a bike loaner library for those who need bikes for the event.
During the party, we'll have a forging demonstration by sculpture artist Kathy Kreager, Dutch Dance performances, tasty treats and a DJ providing music.
