HOLLAND, Mich. – Tulip Time Festival (www.tuliptime.com)

For nearly a century, tulips have attracted millions of guests from all over the world to Holland, Michigan. This charming corner of West Michigan boasts over 5 million blooms every spring. In honor of Tulip Time Festival, the City of Holland plants over 200,000 bulbs throughout public parks and downtown. Stunning tulip displays can be enjoyed at Window on the Waterfront, Windmill Island Gardens, Centennial Park, along 8th Street and the Tulip Lanes.

This year, your Tulip Time experience begins at Window on the Waterfront. Designed by Holland Parks and Recreation and planted by local volunteers, Window on the Waterfront has more tulips than any other city greenspace. Positioned as a "window" into the Holland community today, the park will host the Klompen Garden Public Art Display, trolley rides narrated by longtime residents, professional photograph opportunities by deVries Photography- a studio owned and operated locally for over 100 years, the mom-and-pop merchant Mothers' Day market, tulips in both bulb and bouquet form, and much more.

There’s always something new at Tulip Time! Heralded as America’s Best Small Town Festival and 2017 tulip festival of the year, this experience offers much more than tulips… with national and local entertainment, world-renowned Dutch Dancers, artisan markets, fireworks, breathtaking sights just off the shores of Lake Michigan and some of the largest parades in Michigan, Tulip Time is truly an experience you don’t want to miss.
